Secret scanning validity checks available for Enterprise Cloud with data residency
Expanded platform support GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency and Enterprise Server
- Enterprise Cloud with data residency: Starting today, validity checks are now available for GitHub Secret Protection and GitHub Advanced Security customers on GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency. Once enabled for a given repository, GitHub will now automatically verify secrets for alerts with supported token types.
- Enterprise Server: Validity checks will also be available in an upcoming release of GitHub Enterprise Server. Keep an eye on the GitHub changelog for more information.
Validators added for SSLMate and Typeform
In addition, GitHub has added support for the following additional token types:
