GitHub Copilot app modernization – upgrade for .NET now in public preview

GitHub Copilot app modernization – upgrade for .NET is now in public preview. Pair the capability with agent mode, and Copilot will help reduce the time and toil it takes to modernize .NET applications. It does this by evaluating your code, determining the right upgrade path, and applying changes step by step with minimal manual effort.

Getting started

• Ensure you’re using the latest version of Visual Studio. Download version 17.14.
• Visit the Visual Studio marketplace and download the GitHub Copilot app modernization – upgrade for .NET extension.
